Returns & Exchange Policy

Eligibility for Returns

  1. Your purchase is eligible for return and exchange only if it meets the following conditions:

    • An incorrect product has been delivered to you i.e. the product does not match the item in the order confirmation email.

    • If the product you receive has a genuine quality/manufacturing defect.

  2. Given the nature of our products, we reserve sole discretion to provide resolution as we deem fit. Every exchange request is treated as an individual case. 

How Returns Work

If you would like to return any of the products purchased and if they meet our eligibility criteria outlined above:

  1. Please contact us within 5 days of delivery with the following information:

    2. • Order number

    • Delivery address

    • Specify the reason for return and, in case of a defective or incorrect product, please send us an image of the product

  2. You may contact us via email at shop@joinpaperplanes.com. We will look into the issue and respond to you within 2 business days.
  3. A reverse pick-up will be scheduled within 3-4 business days, if we determine that the product meets the eligibility criteria for returns. Please ensure that the product you return is unused.
  4. Once the package dispatched from your end reaches us, the replacement product, if available, will be shipped out to you and will reach you within our standard delivery time i.e. around 4-5 business days for domestic shipments.
  5. Replacements will be offered based on availability of the product. If we don’t have the required product, you can choose to have the amount refunded or opt for a credit note for The Paper Planes Shop.
  6. We offer replacements only for the same product you have purchased. We are unable to entertain requests to replace a product with a different product or style, even if the price is the same.
  7. Credit notes for any returns will only be sent to the email address that has been used to make the purchase.
  8. If you are eligible for a refund, we will contact you regarding the preferred mode of refund. Please allow up to 15 business days for any refunds to be processed. 
  9. In case of refunds, proportionate shipping cost will also be refunded.
